At the beginning of the second millennium in Ancient India and the countries of Central Asia the star symbol decorated Chashtana’s coins.

The star and the crescent came to Islam in 1299. Ottoman, the sultan of a small state in Asia Minor saw this sign in his dream. He accepted this dream as a prophecy and made the star with crescent a symbol of the dynasty. And as it was proved, Ottoman’s descendants created a superstate and became the most great governors of the Muslim world.
