Lacy Machine Embroidery Design Multicolored butterflies is perfect for corners of serving napkins or tablecloths. This multicolor pattern will look superb on a white background of dining textiles. Its every detail will be clearly visible. At the same time, the image doesn’t seem too bright. It catches the eye but doesn’t pull excessive attention to itself. It is made in a special technique reminiscent of fine lace, so it looks really elegant.
Embroidery with butterflies is a great opportunity to bring some variety to home textiles. These charming little creatures cause the most pleasant associations. Those are about warm sunny days, the beauty of the world, the scent of flowers and greenery. Butterflies symbolize the joy of life and happiness, as well as the ability to revive. The belief in immortality of these beings originated long ago because they’re able to literally reborn several times.
Scientists distinguish 4 stages of the life cycle of these insects. The first is the egg, the second – the caterpillar, followed by the pupa and then imago, that is, the butterfly. As a caterpillar, these amazing creatures stay the longest. They eat a lot, storing energy for the next transformation. When the beauty with gentle wings appears from the pupa, its existence will not be long. It has just enough to lay eggs and ensure the continuation of the kind.

On average, as a butterfly the insect has a lifespan of 2 to 3 weeks. Some are gone in just a few hours after the emergence from the pupa. Others are able to “hold on” a couple of days. Such individuals may not need any food, they have enough energy left from the caterpillar. However, there are champions in the longevity. Nymphalis antiopa, known as the mourning cloak, can be called a winner, as it often lives up to a year.
We appreciate butterflies for their loveliness and the feeling of delight, which arises at the sight of their timid flight. Even in the form of embroidery on textiles they will remind you of sweet summer time. All machine embroidery designs from BUTTERFLIES & INSECTS collection are nice, but this looks simply magical! Fans of tonal embroidery would like the similar design, only presented in a single color – delicate PINK BUTTERFLIES.
