Machine Embroidery Design Afghan Hound is a trendy girl: there is a stylish red bow with polka dots tied on her head that attracts attention and accentuates a refined Oriental appearance of the dog. Slanted eyes, full of dignity expression and long silky coat hair, which once served as protection from the cold climate of the highlands, distinguish this breed from all others.
In the nineteenth century graceful dogs were brought to Europe from Afghanistan, that’s why they got such a name. At home they were held in high esteem, and the inhabitants of the mountains initially did not want to sell their beauties and excellent hunters to the Europeans. However, the Afghans gradually gained worldwide popularity.
Despite the name and a long life in the mountains, Afghanistan is not the real homeland of these dogs. An ancient breed comes from other places, presumably from Central Asia. There is a legend that centuries ago an ancestor of the Afghan hound was taken to Noah’s ark.

Aristocratic Afghans are not suitable for everyone, because they require special treatment and care.
Developing a speed of almost 40 miles per hour, the specimens of the breed could once follow such large and fast animals as gazelles and even leopards, for what were highly valued by hunters. Nowadays, the breed has become decorative; nevertheless, such a dog requires regular exercise. In addition to speed, the Afghans are also excellent jumpers, able to overcome the six-foot fence. So the hound needs a strict owner who will control its hunting instincts.
Afghan hounds are difficult to train, but they need to be educated from an early age. A persistent but gentle breeder will do better than a hard tyrant. Afghans can be loyal and loving pets of attentive owners, because they love to interact with people.
The acknowledged model among dogs, the Afghan hound stands out for its elegance. Its long thick coat, noble breed and full of self-esteem behavior, attracts the attention of breeders around the world.
Elegant machine embroidery design “Afghan hound” is available in two versions, for white fabric and colored one, and will fit almost any clothing.
