Machine embroidery design Islamic ornament Redwork combines simplicity and originality, casualness and luxury at the same time. Everything depends on the basis on which you will embroider it and with what elements will combine.
Technique Redwork was originally in the armory of hand embroidery. We are one of the few who adapted this manual technique to embroidery machines.
Many embroiderers and needlewomen for its simplicity and uncomplicatedness love Redwork. Redwork patterns are outline designs embroidered with a red thread. That is why their embroidery does not require special expenses and efforts.
We suggest embroidering this stylish machine embroidery design Islamic ornament in Redwork style on a silk cushion. Nevertheless, since it is a very delicate fabric, we recommend you to follow our advice to make the embroidery successful, and the fabric is not pulled off.
Therefore, to embroider this redwork embroidery on silk fabric it is necessary:
~ Silk fabric
~ Machine embroidery design Islamic ornament Redwork
~ Medium-weight cut-away stabilizer
~ A glue of a temporary fixation
~ Water-Soluble Stabilizer
To place this Machine embroidery design Islamic ornament Redwork exactly in the middle, mark the center of the embroidery with the template that we provide to each design. Print it out and attach it to the fabric, marking the center and the lines of the axes direction. For such delicate fabrics, use the “sandwich” method of stabilization. In this case, use the cut-away stabilizer as the lower. Spray onto it a glue of a temporary fixation (for example, Gunold KK100) and wait a few seconds. Then glue it to the fabric. Top with a water-soluble stabilizer (for example, Sulky Ultra Solvy). Place the fabric together with the stabilizers in the embroidery frame and embroider the design. Be sure to check whether you tighten the screw on the embroidery frame. After embroidery, remove the excess cut-away stabilizer and the water-soluble film. You can wipe the fabric with a damp sponge to get rid of its small residues.

Tip: Since silk is very slippery, it often happens that it slides out or sags from the hoop. In this case, we recommend using a special quilters “no-slipping” hoop tape (for example, the Edmund ones). It consists of two layers, the first – a sticky tape, the second – a rubberized side. It is enough simply to fix it with a sticky side and the perimeter of the hoop.
Do not forget, too, that silk is a rather whimsical fabric. Always, embroidering on it, do first a trial embroidery on a piece of cloth, and only then transfer it to the finished detail or product. If you saw that there are traces from hooping the fabric, embroider the finishing version without hooping. In this case, only the lower stabilizer is hooped, the fabric is placed on top, and already on it is a water-soluble stabilizer.
