We constantly want to please our customers with new collection of digital embroidery designs. That is why we are studying something new and are improving in order to create another masterpiece.
Today we want to present a unique, original and truly magnificent Arabesque digital embroidery pattern. Performed in a vintage style, it combines luxurious classics, and on the other hand, novelty and uniqueness. We can say that this is a reincarnated classic in our performance.
So, where to use such a grand design? At first, it seems that the scope of its application is not diverse. However, this is only at first glance. Let us discuss the main ideas for applying this design. Then, we will tell our customers, two unique options for using it.
So, the digital embroidery designs with arabesque can be used:
~ In the religious sphere, for example, on christening dresses
~ In the interior in combination with other elements of vintage style: on pillows, bedspreads, tablecloths, curtains, and even lampshades and wall panels
~ In clothes: on light summer sarafans, mostly white t-shirts, exclusive dresses of free cut, long skirts.
~ On kitchen objects: table napkins, flatware pockets, placemats and even on the covers for chairs.
~ In the street interior: to decorate arbors, street cafes, summerhouses.
As you can see, the scope of this digital embroidery designs is very wide. However, we want to add to these list two more equally original versions of its using.
The first option is a pillow with this magnificent embroidery in the patchwork technique. This technique is very popular nowadays and is characterized by a combination of the most diverse fabrics in color, texture and density.
In order to make such a pillow you will need:
~ 2 pieces of 10×10 cm cotton cloth of the same color
~ 2 pieces of fabric 10×10 cm of a different color
Choose colors that will blend well with each other. If one shade is more saturated, then the second should be more gentle and calm.
~ Black cotton fabric for the back of the pillow
~ Cut-away non-glue stabilizer
~ A glue of a temporary fixation
~ Arabesque digital embroidery pattern
~ Filler
At the beginning, you need to spray the cut-away stabilizer with a glue of a temporary fixation and attach the fabric on top. Then, hoop the fabric together with the stabilizer, load it in the machine and embroider the design.

Note:in order not to waste time on measuring the size of the stabilizer, you can use a special stabilizer for quilting (it can be also tear-away, cut-away, water-soluble). Its peculiarity is that it is already divided in the roll into squares or triangles, and you only have to cut the blanks. The most popular in this case is Rasterquilck Viereck (square) Freudenberg.
After the machine has finished embroidering, cut off the excess stabilizer. Repeat these steps for the rest of the quilted-blocks. When embroidery is applied to all pieces of fabric, you can begin to turn these shreds into an exclusive pillow in the patchwork technique. To do this, it is necessary to sew together all the scraps with embroidery, placing them in staggered order. Then you need to sew to the front part of the pillow the backing, while leaving a small hole for the filler. Evenly distribute the filler so that the surface is smooth. Sew it by hand using a hidden seam. To do this, you can use special invisible threads for hidden seams. You can read more about them in our knowledge base in the article “How to choose the thread for machine embroidery. Part 1.”
An original and unusual pillow with quilting is ready. It will undoubtedly become a bright decoration of every interior.
The second idea of using this pattern will be embroidery on an exclusive T-shirt. To make it you will need:
~ White T-shirt
~ Arabesque digital embroidery pattern
~ Medium-weight cut-away stabilizer
~ Air-erase pen
~ A glue of a temporary fixation
If we talk about applying embroidery on T-shirts, then we should remember one unifying all digital embroidery designs rule. Before embroidering any design, you should WASH and dry it, and only then embroider. In addition, when choosing a design, you should choose a simple, not dense design, for example, like this vintage pattern. Embroidery of such designs on a T-shirt will never cause problems. In order to position the embroidery correctly, use the printed template that we deliver to each of our designs. Attach it to the fabric, and transfer the point of the center and the direction of the axes line.
The next stage will be stabilization. Take a medium-weight cut-away, stabilizer, sprinkle it with a glue of a temporary fixation (for example, Gunold KK100) and attach a T-shirt on top. Fit the necessary part of the T-shirt with the stabilizer in the embroidery frame. Roll the rest of the fabric of the T-shirt so that it does not fall under the needle. To do this, you can use special clips for each machine.
Load the embroidery frame into the machine, so that the needle (use No. 75/11 or 75) is in the center of the embroidery. Embroider the design. After that, unhoop the T-shirt and remove the excess stabilizer.
Therefore, the T-shirt turned out unusual. However, to give it even more originality, use the volumetric contours in the tubes. They come with different effects (3D, pearly, Puffy, with sparkles). It has enough just to circle this original pattern with a contour, and embroidery will play with new overflows.
Instructions for using contours:
1) Wash, dry and iron the fabric. Doing these actions, do not forget that you already have embroidery on the fabric, and it is important not to damage it.
2) Apply a contour along the edge of the pattern.
3) Dry with a hairdryer for 2-5 minutes.
Note: these contours are not compatible with synthetic fabrics, and can affect its appearance. Always try the compatibility of the contour and fabric, by applying a contour to the sample, and not immediately on the product itself.
Exclusive T-shirt is ready. Successful embroidery!
