Machine embroidery on fleece

Cartoon Snowballs Machine embroidery designs can also be placed on a set of fleece hat and fleece scarf. This kit is suitable for both adults and children. So you can make it to every member of your family. And therefore, get a great winter family look.

Machine embroidery on fleece fabric is special in that it is necessary to stabilize it correctly. That is why use a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer from the bottom and a thin water-soluble stabilizer from above. In this case, the using of the upper stabilizer will prevent the stitches from falling into the fabric.

To embroider one of the snowmen on a fleece hat, follow these steps:

1. Take a printed design template in full size.

2. Attach to the fabric, in the place where there will be embroidery.

3. Transfer the center point with an erasable marker.

4. Draw a horizontal and vertical line.

5. Glue the cut-away stabilizer to the wrong side of the hat with a glue-spray of a temporary fixation.

6. Then take a self-adhesive water soluble stabilizer, for example, Solufix.

7. Peel off the protective film and stick the stabilizer to the front side.

8. Hoop this “sandwich”.

9. Embroider a design.

10. Cut off the excess stabilizer from below.

11. Wet the hat to dissolve the top stabilizer in water.

Embroidered hat is ready!

For the scarf will be a slightly different technology.

1. Using a print template and mark up the design as usual.

2. Take a dense water-soluble stabilizer, for example, Sulky Super Solvy or Madeira Avalon Ultra Water-soluble Film.

3. Use it as an upper and lower stabilizer. Hoop this “sandwich”.

4. Place the hoop in the machine and embroider the design. Please note that the embroidery will be visible from two sides. Wind on the bobbin thread, which will be used as the top.

5. Dissolve stabilizer in water.

A scarf with a wonderful snowman is ready!
