Two Christmas Angels with Trumpets Machine Embroidery Design Set contains two coordinating angels facing opposite directions. Both motifs are worked as single-color outline embroidery with detailed wings, flowing robes, ribbons and trumpets.
Each angel is supplied in three sizes. The smallest files fit a 100x100 mm (4x4") embroidery field, while the medium and large files require a 130x180 mm (5x7") embroidery field. The two angels are supplied as separate digital files, so they can be stitched individually or arranged as a pair.

Print both templates at 100% and arrange them on the project before hooping. The angels face in opposite directions, so the trumpets can point toward the center or away from it. To keep the composition balanced, draw one horizontal guide and align the bodies or the lower parts of the robes to it. Do not use the trumpet tips as the only alignment points because the poses have different proportions.
If the pair is embroidered in two hoopings, mark the center and horizontal axis of each printed template on the fabric. Measure the distance between the designs from these marked axes, not from the outermost stitches. This keeps the spacing predictable even though the two motifs have different shapes.

The angels are supplied as separate files and can be combined in embroidery software. For a side-by-side arrangement, the two small designs occupy 191.6 mm before any space is added between them. The medium pair occupies 229.8 mm and the large pair 258.8 mm before spacing. Check the complete arrangement against the machine’s actual embroidery field. If it does not fit, stitch the angels in two hoopings using the printed templates and marked center lines.
Yes. The open single-color linework is suitable for a 40 wt metallic thread made for machine embroidery. Use the needle type and size specified by the thread manufacturer and stitch a complete test first. If the metallic thread begins to fray or break, install a new metallic needle, check the thread path and reduce the machine speed. Do not alter the stitch density of the purchased file.
Use a fabric with a short or medium pile and place water-soluble topping above it. The topping keeps the facial features, fingers, wing feathers and trumpet outlines from sinking between the fibers. Very deep pile can hide narrow outline stitches even with topping, so test the selected size on the actual material.
Use bobbin thread close to the top-thread color, check the tension on a test piece and trim any connecting threads after embroidery. The reverse will not be identical to the front because tie-in and tie-off stitches remain, but matching thread makes them less noticeable.
