Emerald Floral Corner and Center Machine Embroidery Design Set

The Emerald Floral Corner and Center Machine Embroidery Design Set includes a large L-shaped corner ornament and a matching symmetrical center motif in two prepared sizes. Violet flowers, turquoise details, emerald-green foliage and spiral scrolls create a coordinated composition for decorative pillows, tablecloths, table runners, bedspreads and embroidered interior panels.

The elements can be embroidered separately or combined in one textile project. Four rotated corner ornaments can form a floral frame on a pillow or square panel, while the middle motif completes the composition. Each element requires a separate hooping.

What is included

• Middle element: a symmetrical floral medallion with spiral leaves, green scrolls and four violet buds. Two prepared sizes are included.
• Corner element: a large L-shaped composition with violet flowers, layered green foliage, turquoise accents and a separate spiral flower.

The finished pillow shown in the product images is a placement example, not one combined embroidery file. To reproduce this arrangement, embroider four rotated corner elements and then align the middle motif with the marked center axes of the pillow panel.

The smaller middle element requires an embroidery field of at least 100x100 mm. The larger middle element fits a 130x180 mm embroidery field, while the corner element requires a field of at least 200x200 mm. All listed sizes and formats are supplied together in one ZIP archive.

How to arrange the elements

Embroider the design on a flat fabric panel before assembling the pillowcase, table runner or other item. Mark the center axes, future seams and outer boundaries of every embroidery element before hooping. Leave sufficient space between the embroidery and seam allowance so that the floral details do not enter the construction seam.

Rotate the corner file by 90, 180 and 270 degrees when decorating four corners. Mirroring is not required. Before starting each hooping, check the direction of the design on the machine screen and confirm its center position in relation to the previously embroidered elements.

When embroidering a tablecloth, bedspread or large panel, support the loose fabric at hoop level. The weight of the material must not pull the embroidery carriage or distort the hooped area.

Fabric and stabilizer

Suitable fabrics include medium- or heavyweight decorative cotton, twill, dense linen, canvas, upholstery fabric and stable blended materials. Pay particular attention to stabilization when embroidering the large corner element, which contains more than 37,000 stitches.

Use the following preliminary stabilizer formula:

Fabric weight ÷ 3 = minimum stabilizer weight

For fabric weighing 180 g/m² or approximately 5.31 oz/yd²:

180 g/m² ÷ 3 = approximately 60 g/m² or 1.77 oz/yd²

For the large corner element, use approximately 60–80 g/m² or 1.77–2.36 oz/yd² cut-away stabilizer. Apply temporary embroidery adhesive to the stabilizer, attach it to the reverse of the fabric and hoop both layers together without stretching the material.

The middle motif can be embroidered on stable woven fabric with a suitable tear-away stabilizer. For a pillow, bedspread or another project requiring several hoopings, cut-away stabilizer provides more consistent permanent support across the complete embroidered area.

On terry cloth, velvet or fabric with a pronounced pile, add a lightweight water-soluble topping above the fabric. It keeps small details and decorative stitches from sinking into the surface.

Madeira Classic thread sequence

The thread charts use Madeira Classic numbers. Follow the color blocks in the listed order rather than relying on the colors displayed automatically by your embroidery machine.

Middle element — both sizes

The 100.0 x 100.0 mm version uses approximately 40.83 m of upper thread. The 129.4 x 129.4 mm version uses approximately 59.74 m. Both sizes contain 5 color blocks and 4 thread changes.

Corner element

The corner element contains 25 color blocks, 24 thread changes and uses approximately 160.42 m of upper thread.

Practical embroidery recommendations

• Use the prepared files at their original sizes instead of automatically resizing them on the embroidery machine.
• Test every element on a sample of the project fabric with the intended stabilizer and threads.
• Print full-size templates and arrange the complete composition before marking the fabric.
• Check the direction of the corner element before starting every new hooping.
• Use temporary adhesive only on the stabilizer.
• Reduce the embroidery speed to approximately 600–700 stitches per minute when stitching the large corner.
• After every color change, check for thread loops, fabric movement and lifting edges.
• Press the completed embroidery from the reverse on a padded surface to protect the raised stitches.
