Pro Tip: How to embroider on a jacket piece (cut fabric):

• Always stabilize the fabric with medium-weight cut-away stabilizer.

• Mark placement carefully using tailor’s chalk or a water-soluble pen.

• Hoop the fabric and stabilizer tightly to avoid shifting.

• If the fabric piece is too small to hoop, use a sticky stabilizer and float the fabric on top.

• Cover the design area with water-soluble topping to help stitches stay on top of textured fabrics like wool or crepe.

• Finish by gently steaming and pressing from the wrong side using a pressing cloth.
