Stabilizer calculation formula:
Fabric weight ÷ 3 = recommended stabilizer weight.
Example: 180 g/m² fabric → 180 ÷ 3 = 60 g/m² stabilizer.
How to embroider on terry towels
When embroidering on terry towels, place a water-soluble topper on top of the fabric to prevent stitches from sinking into the pile. Use a medium cutaway stabilizer underneath and hoop the fabric firmly without stretching. After stitching, remove excess stabilizer and rinse away the topper with warm water.
This Christmas ballerina design will elevate your holiday projects, adding elegance, movement, and festive inspiration to every embroidered piece.
