Design Specifications

Hoop Compatibility

Run the machine’s boundary trace before using the smallest file in a 100x100 mm field because its height leaves little clearance. Hoop names are rounded commercial labels, so always compare both exact file dimensions with the machine’s usable embroidery field.

Madeira Classic Rayon No. 40 Color Chart

The smallest version uses 12 thread shades arranged in 14 programmed color blocks. Screen colors are approximate; use the Madeira number and a physical shade card when an exact match is required.

Programmed sequence:
1138 → 1144 → 1338 → 1270 → 1241 → 1189 → 1168 → 1338 → 1172 → 1104 → 1124 → 1378 → 1270 → 1146

Do not activate automatic color sorting. Madeira 1338 and 1270 return after other colors because they build separate layers of the branches, sack and decorations. Merging repeated colors can change the intended overlap order and affect registration.

The smallest file uses approximately 49.01 m of upper thread. This estimate applies only to the smallest version and does not include thread used for a test stitch.

Fabric, Stabilizer and Needle

For lightweight table linens, begin at approximately 600–700 stitches per minute. Before embroidering the finished item, test the complete design on the same fabric with the same backing, needle and thread. Check the alignment of the layered fir needles, carrot outlines and small bows.

Where to Embroider the Christmas Tree

• on the visible panel of a folded Christmas dinner napkin;
• on a children’s placemat or festive basket liner;
• on the front panel of a fabric gift bag before assembly;
• on a kitchen towel or guest towel with a smooth insert;
• on a Christmas stocking panel or reusable fabric package;

Napkins, basket liners, bags and stocking panels are easier to embroider while the fabric pieces are still flat. For napkin placement, fold the napkin exactly as it will appear on the table, position a full-size paper template on the visible panel and keep the tree clear of hems, lace seams and fold lines.
