As a lower stabilizer, we recommend taking a tear-away non-glue stabilizer, for example, Madeira Tear-away Cotton Soft and temporary spray adhesive, for example Gunold KK100. Use the water-soluble stabilizer as the top, for example, Sulky Solvy, Madeira Avalon Film, or Vilene. In this case, the cut-away stabilizer will help to prevent the fabric from puckering, and the water-soluble stabilizer will prevent entanglement of the stitches in the pile or missing stitches.

~ Sharp needle #75 or #75/11 is perfect for embroidering on terry cloth.

~ There is no special approach to the choosing of threads. However, we do not recommend embroidering with a metallic thread. Nevertheless, if there is such a need, use Sulky Railway. This is an excellent alternative to typical metallic threads.

~ As the embroidery on towels is visible from both sides, take a lower thread of the same color, which the main thread is. It helps to make embroidery accurate and excellent.

~ To position the embroidery on the fabric properly, use a printed design template, which we provide in a separate file in each archive.
