What the set includes

• poinsettia border with berries and winter greenery;
• Christmas border with a large red bow and fir branches;
• long narrow fir branch with berries and a small red bow.

These are three different embroidery designs, not one design supplied in three sizes. Each border comes in the single original size listed above.

Hoop compatibility

All three Christmas borders fit a 130 × 180 mm (5 × 7 inch) embroidery field. They also fit a 100 × 170 mm field when the first two designs are rotated by 90 degrees. None of the files fits a true 100 × 100 mm (4 × 4 inch) embroidery field because the shortest horizontal design is 102.0 mm long.

Fabric and stabilization

For linen, cotton and other stable woven fabrics, use a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer. For terry towels, add water-soluble film over the pile so the fine fir needles and berry details remain visible.

On faux suede, use a new sharp embroidery needle 75/11. Choose cut-away stabilizer for soft or slightly stretchy faux suede; a stable non-stretch material may be tested with tear-away stabilizer. Avoid stretching the fabric while hooping and test the complete color sequence on a sample first.

Important color information

Follow the JPG color chart included with the download rather than relying only on the colors shown on the embroidery-machine screen. Some machine formats match color stops to their own internal palettes, so red shading may appear brown or another incorrect color on the display. The lower shading of the large bow should be stitched in a darker red tone.

No. The set contains three different designs, and each design is supplied in one original size.

Will these designs fit a 4 × 4 inch hoop?

No. None of the three files fits a 100 × 100 mm embroidery field.

Can the designs be rotated?

Yes. Rotating a design by 90 degrees does not change its size, stitch count or density.

Can I order another size?

Do not resize a finished machine file automatically without recalculating its stitches. If another size is required, read the Royal Present Embroidery resizing service instructions. Not every design can be reduced or enlarged without losing quality.

May I sell finished embroidered items?

Yes. Finished physical items may be sold by a small business under the standard license. The digital embroidery files may not be copied, shared, published or resold. See the Royal Present Embroidery license terms.
