Large Emerald Floral Blank Monogram Frame is a nearly square machine embroidery design composed of stylized flowers and green leaves arranged around an open fabric center. The center can remain empty or be personalized with an initial, monogram or short name added separately in embroidery software. The lettering and font are not included.
The floral composition is large but visually airy: it covers an area of approximately 20x20 cm without creating a heavy solid block of stitching. Green foliage, violet and indigo flowers and pale pearl-like accents give the design the appearance of embroidered floral jewellery.
Size: 198.2x192.8 mm (7.80x7.59 "), Stitches: 3843
Formats: .dst, .jef, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .exp, .sew, .dat, .vp3, .xxx
Size 198.2x192.8 mm (7.80x7.59") — Hoop: 200x200 mm (8x8")
Check that the usable embroidery field of your machine is at least 200x200 mm. The hoop measurement describes the embroidery field, not the physical outside dimensions of the frame.
This large floral monogram frame is particularly well suited to a decorative 45x45 cm or approximately 18x18 inch pillow. Embroider the design in the center of a 20–22 cm panel before assembling the pillowcase. Surround the embroidered panel with an approximately 11–12 cm border of coordinating satin and finish the pillow with emerald green or violet piping.
The open center can hold a family initial, wedding monogram or short name. For a balanced result, use lettering with sufficient stroke width and leave visible space between the letter and the surrounding flowers.
Use a stable, medium-weight satin rather than very thin transparent satin. Apply sticky-back tear-away stabilizer to the reverse, or use a quality tear-away stabilizer with a light application of temporary embroidery adhesive. Hoop the satin and stabilizer together so the fabric lies completely flat without ripples.
A 75/11 sharp needle makes smaller, cleaner perforations in satin than a ballpoint needle. Because the design has a low stitch count for its large dimensions, an excessively heavy stabilizer is unnecessary. However, secure hooping is important to keep all sections of the floral frame correctly aligned.
Velvet is not the first choice for this light, open design because fine running stitches can disappear in the nap. If velvet is used, hoop a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer, attach the velvet on top with temporary spray adhesive and add a lightweight water-soluble film over the fabric. Avoid hooping velvet directly because the hoop can crush the pile.
Use the color chart supplied with the design to follow the correct embroidery sequence. A jewel-inspired palette can combine emerald green leaves, violet or indigo flowers and pearl-white highlights. The colors may be changed to coordinate with the pillow fabric, but retain enough contrast for the individual flowers and leaves to remain visible.
Madeira Classic Rayon or another 40-weight viscose thread will give the flowers a soft, glossy finish. For pillows or linens that will be washed frequently, 40-weight polyester embroidery thread offers greater resistance to repeated laundering.
If you use another thread brand, enter the Madeira numbers from the supplied color chart into the free Madeira embroidery thread converter to find the closest available equivalents.
Merge the original floral frame with the selected lettering in embroidery software before transferring the file to your machine. Check the final combined dimensions and confirm that the entire composition remains inside the 200x200 mm embroidery field. Do not resize the original frame simply to make room for a larger letter.
This floral monogram frame belongs to the Emerald Collection of floral machine embroidery designs. Use the large frame as the main element on a pillow and combine it with the Emerald Floral Corner on a table runner or the Emerald Flower on a smaller companion pillow.
Choose compatible lettering from the fonts, alphabets and monograms collection. Before stitching, check the practical monogram placement guide.
This product is a downloadable machine embroidery design, not a finished pillow, patch or physical item. After purchase, the listed embroidery formats are supplied in a ZIP archive. Test the original file using the intended fabric, thread and stabilizer before embroidering the final pillow panel.
The design is a large, nearly square floral frame made from multicolored flowers and green leaves. Its open center is intended for an initial, monogram or short name.
No. The product contains the floral frame only. Add your own lettering separately using compatible embroidery software or your machine’s lettering function.
The design measures 198.2x192.8 mm or 7.80x7.59 inches and requires a 200x200 mm or 8x8 inch embroidery field.
Satin is the better choice because the design is light and open. On velvet, fine stitches may sink into the nap. Velvet requires cut-away stabilizer underneath and water-soluble topping above the fabric.
Changing the size independently may alter the construction, stitch density and embroidery quality. Royal Present Embroidery guarantees only the original file. If another size is required, order the professional Resize of Design service.
