Required embroidery hoop

Rotate the design 90 degrees in the machine layout so that its 89.8 mm side runs across the 100 mm width of the embroidery field.

Fabric and stabilizer recommendations

This is a detailed, high-stitch-count design, so it performs best on stable fabrics such as cotton twill, denim, canvas, felt or upholstery-weight fabric. For garments, bags and cushion covers, use a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer that will continue supporting the embroidery after washing and wear.

When stitching the crown on velvet, hoop the stabilizer and float the velvet over it to reduce hoop marks. Secure the fabric with a small amount of temporary adhesive applied away from the embroidery machine. Add a clear water-soluble film on top so the stitches remain above the velvet pile, then use a basting outline before starting the design.
