A coordinated machine embroidery design set featuring a diagonal sunflower garland in four sizes and a matching single sunflower in two sizes. Suitable for napkins, table linens, towels, aprons, cushions and seasonal textile projects. Digital embroidery files are supplied in multiple machine formats for instant download.
This coordinated sunflower machine embroidery design set features an elegant diagonal garland of four sunflowers and a matching single sunflower with leaves. The set includes six professionally prepared sizes for decorating table linens, kitchen textiles, clothing and home accessories.
The elongated floral garland creates a complete composition without requiring several separate embroidery motifs to be positioned manually. The single sunflower can be embroidered independently or used to coordinate smaller items with the main design.

The sunflower garland works especially well when positioned diagonally in the corner of a tablecloth, napkin, cushion or decorative towel. It can also be placed along the end of a table runner or embroidered as an elongated botanical accent on a bag or garment.
Use the matching single sunflower on smaller coordinating pieces such as napkins, pockets, towel corners or fabric accessories. Combining both motifs makes it possible to create a complete matching textile collection.
The designs can be embroidered on linen, cotton, cotton-linen blends, canvas, denim and other stable woven fabrics. Pre-wash natural fabrics before embroidery because cotton and linen may shrink during the first wash.
For lightweight linen or loosely woven fabric, support the embroidery area carefully so that the stitches do not pull the fabric inward. Always test the selected design size on a sample of the actual fabric before embroidering the finished item.
For stable cotton, linen or canvas, use a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer. A fusible tear-away stabilizer is useful for thin, slippery or loosely woven fabric because it helps prevent movement during embroidery.
For the larger sunflower garland sizes, use sufficient stabilization to support the entire embroidery area. Soft fabric may require two layers of stabilizer placed in different directions.
When embroidering on terry towels, waffle towels or other textured materials, place a suitable stabilizer underneath the fabric and add a water-soluble topping above it. The topping keeps the sunflower petals and decorative details from sinking into the fabric texture.
For garments, bags and other frequently washed projects, a lightweight cut-away stabilizer may provide better long-term support than tear-away stabilizer.
Hoop the fabric and stabilizer together whenever the material can be safely placed in the hoop. The fabric should be smooth and secure but must not be stretched.
When embroidering a finished towel, bag, garment or another item that cannot be hooped conveniently, hoop an adhesive stabilizer and secure the fabric on top. Use the embroidery template and marked centre lines to position the design accurately.
Always compare the exact dimensions listed above with the actual embroidery field supported by your machine. A commercial hoop name does not always represent its precise usable embroidery area.
Use 40-weight rayon embroidery thread for a glossy decorative finish. Polyester embroidery thread is a practical choice for kitchen towels, table linens, bags and other items that will be washed frequently.
A standard embroidery needle in size 75/11 is suitable for most medium-weight woven fabrics. Use a sharp embroidery needle for dense cotton, canvas or tightly woven linen. Replace a worn needle before starting the largest garland size to reduce the risk of thread breaks and damaged stitches.
Use one of the professionally prepared sizes supplied with the set whenever possible. Purchased PES, DST, JEF and other machine files are finished embroidery formats rather than the original digitizing file.
Resizing a finished machine file in ordinary embroidery software may alter stitch density, underlay, pull compensation and stitch length. This can cause puckering, thread breaks, gaps or excessively dense embroidery.
When another exact size is required, use the Royal Present professional embroidery design resizing service.
This product contains digital machine embroidery files only. It does not include a finished embroidered item, fabric, thread, stabilizer or any physical product.
The design has been tested and reviewed to ensure high embroidery quality. Nevertheless, always test the complete design or a selected part of it before stitching on the final item because the result may vary depending on the fabric, thread, needle and stabilizer combination.
Please do not sell, share or trade the digital embroidery files. Finished physical products embroidered with the designs may be created according to the Royal Present Embroidery terms of use.

Use a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer for stable linen. For thin or loosely woven linen, use a fusible tear-away stabilizer to prevent the fabric from shifting and puckering.
Yes. Use polyester embroidery thread for durability. Place stabilizer underneath the towel and water-soluble topping above the fabric so that the sunflower petals and smaller details remain visible above the pile.
Print the embroidery template at its actual size and mark the horizontal and vertical centre lines on the fabric. Align the marked lines with the centre lines of the template before hooping or floating the fabric.
