A roaring panther for men's clothing, boys and teens
The open mouth, yellow eyes and layered black-and-grey fur make this panther head a strong standalone emblem. It does not depend on lettering, a sports-team name or a licensed character, so the motif works for streetwear, outdoor projects and animal-themed gifts. Suitable placements include:
- the chest or sleeve of a men's hoodie, sweatshirt or denim jacket;
- a boys' sweatshirt, teen jacket or backpack front panel;

Original Madeira Classic Rayon 40 color sequence
The published technological chart for RPE-870 identifies 5 unique thread colors used across 7 color blocks. Repeated colors are intentional: Madeira 1007 returns at block 6 and Madeira 1359 returns at block 7 to place late details over earlier stitched layers. Do not merge or reorder these stops simply because the same spool appears twice.

The color squares are screen approximations only. Rayon sheen, lighting and display settings affect their appearance; select spools by Madeira number and compare them with a physical thread chart. Preserve the file's color-block order even when substituting another thread brand.

Start with 500–600 stitches per minute for the test. The layered fur, fangs and mouth need the fabric to remain flat until the last returning colors are complete. If a final detail lands beside its intended area, inspect hoop movement, insufficient backing, stretched knit, needle deflection and whether the garment pulled on the carriage. Do not hold or tug the fabric while the machine is running.

Put it on a sweatshirt grey mask. No issues at all. Wish I used a crimson color for inside the mouth; that part was a little unclear but, for a free design I'm not going to complain. Going to use it again on a keychain.
