Moroccan Monogram Frame Machine Embroidery Design is a downloadable blank ornamental frame supplied in four original sizes. Flowing turquoise vines, darker blue leaves and small white floral accents form an elegant setting for a single initial, family monogram, wedding monogram or short personalized inscription.

The original design was inspired by the decorative art of the Tilla-Qori Madrasah in Uzbekistan. Its balanced circular composition works beautifully on towels, napkins, table linens, cushion covers, wedding textiles and personalized handmade gifts.

The embroidery font, letters and small crown shown in the photographs are not included. The purchase contains the blank decorative frame only.

Madeira Classic Rayon 40 Thread Chart

The published color charts identify three Madeira Classic Rayon 40 shades. The descriptions below explain which sections are embroidered by each thread.

The displayed color blocks are approximate screen previews. Actual rayon or polyester thread may appear different because of thread shine, lighting, dye lot and monitor settings.

The gallery charts round the stitch totals to approximately 14400, 15700, 17400 and 18400 stitches. The Technical Information section above retains the exact stitch counts published on the product page.

Alternative Color Ideas

• Wedding version: white, ivory and pale champagne;
• Traditional blue version: turquoise, deep blue and white;
• Formal version: navy, antique gold and ivory;
• Modern version: black, warm beige and metallic gold;
• Monochromatic version: use one thread color through all programmed color sections.

If embroidering the frame in one color, the machine may still stop at the programmed color changes. Leave the same thread installed and continue stitching.

Fabric and Stabilizer Recommendations

• Stable cotton or linen around 140–170 g/m²: Madeira Cotton Soft 50 g/m² tear-away stabilizer;
• Fabric or textile item that is difficult to hoop: Madeira Cotton Fix 50 g/m² self-adhesive tear-away stabilizer;
• Soft, unstable or stretch fabric: Madeira E-ZEE Green Cut 45 g/m² cut-away stabilizer;
• Terry towels, velvet or textured fabric: suitable backing plus Gunold SOLVY FILM 20 water-soluble topping;
• Upper thread: Madeira Classic Rayon 40 for lustre or Madeira Polyneon 40 for frequently washed textiles;
• Needle: sharp embroidery needle, size 75/11;
• Bobbin: standard machine embroidery bobbin thread.

As a starting point, stabilizer weight can be calculated as approximately one third of the fabric weight. For example, cotton weighing about 150 g/m² can be paired with approximately 50 g/m² stabilizer. Fabric structure, hoop tension and the selected design size must also be considered.

The frame contains narrow satin lines and a wide circular satin border. Hoop the fabric without stretching it and test the complete design before embroidering the finished item.

How to Add a Monogram

1. Open the selected frame size in compatible embroidery editing software.
2. Insert a real machine embroidery font into the blank center.
3. Center the letter or monogram without touching the inner satin border.
4. Check the combined dimensions, stitch sequence and final stitch count.
5. Save the completed composition in the format supported by your machine.
6. Test the complete frame and lettering on similar fabric.

The sample uses Olietta Script Poesia, but this font is not included. You may select another suitable script, serif or block alphabet from Fonts, Alphabets and Monograms Machine Embroidery Designs.

Is the font included?

No. Olietta Script Poesia and the letters shown in the photographs are examples only. The purchase contains the blank decorative frame.

Is the small crown included?

No. The small white crown visible beside the embroidered sample is not part of the frame file.

Which size fits a 5x7 hoop?

Only the smallest 126.3x128.2 mm (4.97x5.05") version fits a full 130x180 mm embroidery field. Check that your machine provides the complete 130 mm width.

Do all four sizes fit a 160x160 hoop?

Yes, if the machine provides a true usable field of at least 160x160 mm. The largest file measures 155.9x158.2 mm, so the remaining clearance is small.

Can the frame be embroidered without a monogram?

Yes. The blank frame can be used as an independent ornamental motif on napkins, cushion covers, quilt blocks and table linens.

Can I stitch the design in one color?

Yes. Leave the same thread installed through all programmed color sections. The machine may pause, but no thread replacement is required.

Can I use polyester instead of rayon?

Yes. Madeira Polyneon 40 or another quality 40-weight polyester thread is practical for towels, napkins and other textiles that will be washed frequently.

Can I embroider the frame on a terry towel?

Yes. Stabilize the reverse securely and place water-soluble topping over the pile so the narrow decorative stitches remain visible.

Can the design be resized?

Use one of the four supplied original sizes whenever possible. Significant resizing can change satin-stitch width, density, pull compensation and the quality of the small floral details.

Which file format should I use?

Choose the format supported by your embroidery machine after unpacking the ZIP archive. Read the Embroidery Machine File Formats Guide if you are unsure.

Is this a finished physical product?

No. The purchase contains downloadable files for a computerized embroidery machine. Nothing will be shipped.

Can I sell items embroidered with this design?

Finished embroidered items may be sold by a small handmade business. Factory production and redistribution, sharing or resale of the digital embroidery files are prohibited.
