Royal Oriental Florals Machine Embroidery Designs is a curated category of downloadable embroidery files built around stylized flowers, leaves, vines and symmetrical ornamental compositions. The designs combine Moroccan-style color, Andalusian and Moorish pattern, and Persian-influenced Central Asian decoration associated with the Tilla-Qori Madrasah in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
This category focuses specifically on richly colored palace-inspired florals. It is different from naturalistic flower embroidery, general Asian motifs and line-based arabesque patterns. Here you will find coordinated monogram frames, borders, standalone ornaments, appliqué designs and in-the-hoop projects in turquoise, blue, white, gold, deep red and other customizable palettes.
Royal Oriental Florals are decorative machine embroidery designs in which flowers and leaves form structured frames, borders and symmetrical patterns. The word Royal describes their formal, richly decorated appearance. The category is not connected with royal insignia or religious symbols.
The visual language crosses several regions rather than reproducing the folk embroidery of one country:
| Design type | Best uses | Important detail |
|---|---|---|
| Blank monogram frames | Towels, napkins, bedding, cushions, wedding textiles and personalized gifts | Letters and embroidery fonts shown in product photographs are not included |
| Floral borders | Table runners, tablecloths, curtain panels, pillowcases, garment hems and cuffs | Check the complete width and height before planning repeated placement |
| Standalone ornaments | Quilt blocks, cushions, wall hangings, textile panels and coordinated table décor | Some compact files fit a 100x100 mm or 4x4 embroidery field |
| Appliqué ornaments | Pillows, quilts, table textiles and decorative fabric panels | Placement, tack-down, trimming and finishing blocks must remain in their programmed order |
| ITH placemats and accessories | Table settings, cup mats, sleep masks and complete textile projects | Follow the material-placement and construction instructions supplied with the selected product |
The category includes compact ornaments and borders for 100x100 mm fields, designs for 130x180 mm and larger hoops, and large ITH placemats requiring square commercial or mega embroidery fields.
Do not rotate or purchase a file based only on the commercial hoop name. Compare both dimensions with the actual sewing field shown in your machine manual or embroidery software. Read the 5x7 hoop size and embroidery-field guide before purchasing a design with very little clearance.
Formats commonly found in this category include DST, PES, JEF, PEC, EXP, HUS, VIP, VP3, SEW, DAT and XXX. The exact set varies between products and sizes.
Very large embroidery fields may exceed the limits of some home-machine formats. For example, the largest files in one 11-size Andalusian ITH placemat are supplied only in DST. Always read the selected product page before purchase.
If you are unsure which extension your machine requires, use the embroidery machine file formats guide.
The open-center frames are supplied without letters. Any initial, alphabet or monogram visible in a product photograph is an example of use unless the individual description explicitly states otherwise.
Suitable alphabets can be found in Machine Embroidery Fonts, Alphabets and Monograms.
For ITH and appliqué projects, follow the product instructions rather than applying the general recommendations mechanically. Construction blocks may include placement lines, tack-down stitching, appliqué finishing, material stops and final joining seams.
More technical information is available in Choosing Stabilizers for Machine Embroidery.
Turquoise, blue, white and small golden accents emphasize the Samarkand- and Moroccan-inspired designs. Deep red and white create the more graphic Andalusian group. These are suggested palettes rather than mandatory colors.
Preserve enough contrast for the small flowers, leaves and borders to remain readable. Regular decorative designs may be stitched in one color if the structure remains clear. In ITH and appliqué files, do not delete or merge programmed construction stops simply because adjacent blocks use the same thread color.
Every listing in this category is a digital product for a computerized embroidery machine. No finished embroidery, fabric, thread, stabilizer or physical item will be shipped. After purchase, download the ZIP archive, extract it and transfer the required file to your machine.
If your device cannot open the archive, use the Royal Present online ZIP extractor.
Finished embroidered items may be sold by a small handmade business. Digital files may not be copied, shared, exchanged, repackaged, uploaded or resold. Factory mass production is prohibited. Full conditions are published in the Royal Present Embroidery Users’ Agreement.
